Happy new year and Green lab initiative grant winners

Happy new year everyone! We hope you all had a good start into 2023 and that the year will be a good one for all of us.

We wanted to take the time and thank all of you – because of your efforts and showing that you care, it feels a little less daunting to think that with each passing year, every ton of carbon dioxide emitted, the chances of keeping to global temperature rise below 1.5 Degrees grow dimmer. While there have been setbacks in 2022 in terms of climate change mitigation, there is still hope. Hope that is still there, thanks to you and every single one that cares and tries to help in their own little way. If you’re feeling gloomy about the future, below is a little list to cheer you up: our grant winners for the green lab initiative! (And if that’s not enough, you can check out this list.)

We also wanted to inform you how our next plans look – now that the grant winners have been decided and informed, we plan on setting up a small meeting where our grant winners can present their project and share ways to implement their goals with each other. If you’d like to participate as someone who is not part of the grant winners team, please contact us! The next big network meeting will be towards the end of May so please be on the lookout for future information or announcements from us. And as always, if you have any ideas or suggestions for the network or the next meetings, please contact us!
